Privacy Policy

Solidefi (“we”, “us”, or “our”) is dedicated to safeguarding user privacy and data sovereignty. This Privacy Policy details how data is processed when you access or interact with our websites located at solidefi.co, yield.solidefi.co, fund.solidefi.co, and associated decentralized web interfaces (collectively, the “Interface”).

1. Privacy-First & Non-Custodial Architecture

Solidefi operates on core decentralized finance principles of financial self-sovereignty and data minimization:

  • No Mandatory Account Creation: We do not require you to create an account, register a username, or provide your legal name, physical address, national identification number, or phone number to access the Interface or connect a Web3 wallet.
  • No Custody of Credentials: We never collect, transmit, store, or have access to your wallet private keys, seed phrases, or password credentials. You retain exclusive custody of your keys and digital assets at all times.

2. Information We Process

2.1. Public Blockchain Data. When you connect a Web3 wallet (e.g., MetaMask, WalletConnect, Coinbase Wallet) and interact with smart contracts:

  • Your public cryptographic wallet address (e.g., 0x...) is read by the frontend to display token balances, allowance statuses, and vault positions.
  • All transactions you approve (deposits, withdrawals, token approvals) generate public cryptographic transaction hashes recorded permanently and immutably on the underlying public blockchains (e.g., Ethereum, Arbitrum, Polygon).
  • Important: Public blockchains are distributed open ledgers. Anyone worldwide can inspect transactions, balances, and smart contract calls associated with your public wallet address.

2.2. Technical and Device Information. When you visit our Interface, our web hosting and Content Delivery Network (CDN) providers automatically log basic technical parameters necessary to securely serve the website:

  • IP address (anonymized or truncated where technically supported)
  • Browser type, version, and language settings
  • Operating system and device platform
  • Referring URL and access timestamps
  • Network telemetry for DDoS mitigation, system health, and rate limiting.

2.3. Sanctions and Security Screening. To ensure compliance with international economic sanctions and protect platform integrity, we may screen public wallet addresses against publicly available sanctions databases (such as OFAC SDN lists) through automated third-party compliance tools. This screening does not link your wallet address to personal identity records.

2.4. Voluntary User Communications. If you choose to contact us directly via email (inbox@solidefi.co) or our official social channels (Twitter/X, Discord), we process the email address and communication details you provide solely to respond to and resolve your inquiry.

3. Cookies and Local Storage

We use minimal local storage and cookies strictly necessary for core site performance and user preferences:

  • Functional UI Preferences: Storing client-side interface settings (such as dark mode preferences, accepted disclaimer acknowledgments, or connected wallet type).
  • No Cross-Site Ad Tracking: We do not employ third-party behavioral advertising cookies, data broker trackers, or targeted ad retargeting scripts. We do not sell or monetize your personal information.

4. How We Use Information

We process technical data and public blockchain records strictly for legitimate operational purposes:

  • To provide, operate, maintain, and optimize the Interface and its features;
  • To verify network stability, prevent DDoS attacks, and enforce cybersecurity controls;
  • To detect, prevent, and mitigate fraud, protocol exploits, and malicious bot activity;
  • To comply with applicable legal obligations, including anti-sanctions compliance;
  • To respond to user-initiated questions, support requests, or bug reports.

5. Third-Party Service Providers & Integrations

We may share technical data with trusted third-party service providers solely to maintain the availability, security, and operation of the Interface:

  • Hosting & CDN Infrastructure: Netlify, Cloudflare, or AWS for secure content distribution and DDoS shielding.
  • Web3 RPC Providers: Remote Procedure Call node providers (such as Infura, Alchemy, or public RPCs) that relay read and write queries to the public blockchain.
  • Enzyme Finance & External DeFi Protocols: When you interact with Solidefi Fund, transactions are processed directly on the Enzyme Finance smart contract architecture (Enzyme Vault) and underlying decentralized liquidity pools. These protocols operate on autonomous smart contracts independent of Solidefi.

6. Public Blockchain Immutability & Your Data Rights

6.1. Blockchain Immutability. Due to the technological architecture of decentralized blockchains, data published to a public blockchain (including wallet addresses, transaction histories, smart contract calls, and token transfers) is permanent, public, and immutable. Neither Solidefi nor any other party has the administrative ability to delete, edit, modify, or erase data recorded on a distributed ledger.

6.2. Rights Over Off-Chain Personal Data (GDPR / CCPA / UK GDPR). To the extent applicable law affords you privacy rights regarding any off-chain personal data we hold (such as email communications):

  • Access and Portability: You have the right to request confirmation and copies of off-chain personal data we maintain.
  • Rectification and Erasure: You may request the correction or deletion of off-chain communication records.
  • Non-Discrimination: We will not discriminate against you for exercising any statutory privacy rights.

7. Data Security and Retention

We implement industry-standard administrative, technical, and physical safeguards designed to protect off-chain information from unauthorized access, alteration, or disclosure. Server logs collected for technical security are retained only for as long as necessary to fulfill security and troubleshooting objectives, after which they are routinely rotated and deleted.

8. International Data Transfers

The Interface is operated on distributed infrastructure worldwide. By accessing the Interface, you acknowledge that technical log data may be processed and stored in jurisdictions outside your home country, where data protection laws may differ.

9. Children’s Privacy

The Interface is strictly intended for individuals who are 18 years of age or older. We do not knowingly collect personal data from children under the age of 18. If we become aware that a minor has submitted personal data to us, we will take immediate steps to delete such information.

10. Updates to this Privacy Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time to reflect modifications in our operational practices, technological developments, or applicable regulatory requirements. Any updates will be posted directly to the Interface with a revised “Last Updated” date. Your continued use of the Interface after revisions are published constitutes your acknowledgment of the updated policy.
